ONLINE: 4th Annual NYC Uke Squad Holiday Kickoff: an “All-Festive” Online Ukulele Playalong + Singalong

Looking to do some Seasonal Strumming? To kick off the 2024 Holiday Music season, members of the NYC Uke Squad, which Cynthia Lin and I co-founded back in late 2017, will hold our fourth annual "All-Festive" playalong jam on Zoom and YouTube.

I'm hosting and you're all invited -- you don't have to be a local or a member of our NYC Squad. Heck, you don't even have to play ukulele. Bring your guitar or your kazoo, sing along, or just listen.

From 2021 through 2023 we used the same songbook, filled with requests from NYC Uke Squad members and song sheets I've created for myself, my ukulele students, and my Patreon Patrons. This year I've updated it so that it contains more than 75 songs! If your favorite "seasonal" song isn't in it, let me know and I'll look for chords to see if I can add it next year. See the bottom of this post for a link that will take you to a public post with the songbook attached.

Creative interpretations of what counts as a “festive” song are encouraged. Classic Christmas and anti-Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year, Boxing Day, and winter season songs are all fair game. Chords will be shared on the screen.
